Hi, This morning I weighed in at 192.5lbs – the same as Saturday – which makes me happy.

This afternoon I ran in the forest for 45 minutes. A nice steady pace nothing too strenuous.

Over the last week or so my left knee has felt quite weak and I’ve been favouring my right leg much more when running. My left leg has been little more than a pivot (especially uphill), which is not great. Today I found a great deal more stability in my left knee and started pushing off more with my left leg.

I suppose I could have stopped running to wait for my left knee to settle but honestly, I know only too well that a week or two weeks would pass and I’d be right back at the start. Better just to push through the pain (with caution) in my humble opinion. That approach seems to have paid off.

I’ve been running three days in a row now, all of them long runs. I will probably run tomorrow too just because I’ll have the opportunity to do it. The rest of the week isn’t looking so good.

I’m enjoying being nearly ten pounds lighter and I like the look of what I’m seeing in the mirror. I think another ten pound loss should bring some dramatic and very visible improvements.

Now that I’m losing weight at a consistent rate I find myself worrying about loose skin especially on my belly and ‘love handle’ area. I’ve been fat there for a couple of decades and now that I’m forty, my skin may not return to a taught state. Still, that’s some way off. I’ll lose the fat first and worry about that later.

hey man, good job keep it up. I was online looking for some motivation to get started, i kneed to loose 35 pounds or so my self. i flucuate alot each week between 223 and 238 depending on how much beer or chips i consume. anyway i want to get down to 190 205 someplace in there. ive always been fit until last four years. i am 42. if you want an online fitness pal let me know
