Hi, Fit Dad here,
I’m a dad in my early 40s and I want to lose the fat that’s been hanging around my flat stomach for the best part of two decades.
I like to take a positive view of my situation which is why I chose to talk about myself as having a flat stomach already.
How much fat do I need to lose? It’s difficult to know for sure but I think it’s probably close to 30lbs. If I can lose the fat know I’ll feel better, I know I’ll be healthier, but I also know I’ll need to gain some muscle.
I’m taking a fairly relaxed approach to losing the fat and trying to work it into a lifestyle change. It hasn’t been easy and I’ve failed several times before – but the key point is I’m having another attempt to lose the fat.
This is a haphazard diary of my efforts to lose the fat, get fit and be healthy.
I’m trying to train my mind as well as train my body so I repeat a simple mantra to help me get in the right frame of mind:
LOSE THE FAT!
LOSE THE FAT!!
LOSE THE FAT!!!
I don’t necessarily expect anyone to read this fat loss diary, it’s primarily for me as a means to keep myself motivated and on track towards my goal to lose the fat and reveal my flat stomach.
I know I can do it. I know I can lose the fat.
