A Fat Burning 40 Minute Run

Hi, Fit Dad here,

I had the opportunity do some fat burning this afternoon so I made the best of it and put in a steady 40 minute cross country run.

It felt good to put in that sort of time. I hope to make that a regular thing in the future but of course I’ll continue to mix it up to keep it fresh.

Taking the day off yesterday was a good move. My feet and joints felt better for it. I have to remember I’m still in the early stages and need to play it safe until I get used to the extra exertion.

I’m still really pleased with my eating habits- over the last week or so my diet has really come together. I’m working my eating plan around having three meals a day. I used to eat six smaller meals but to be honest that didn’t work so well as there was too much expectation of the next meal or snack. This way I eat enough to get me through and I don’t give myself the chance to overeat.

We’ll see if my eating plan is working when I weigh myself on Saturday.
